When I listen to the song 'Memory' sung by Susan Boyle, somehow it touches the core of my heart. With teary eyes, happy memories of both of you will glide and blend in with the angelic voice of Susan Boyle!
She may not have the looks but she is so blessed with a beautiful voice that is able to mesmerise and 'serenade' the audience.
Memory
by Andrew Lloyd Webber
Midnight
Not a sound from the pavement
Has the moon lost her memory?
She is smiling alone
In the lamplight
The withered leaves collect at my feet
And the wind begins to moan
Every streetlamp
Seems to beat a fatalistic warning
Someone mutters
And the streetlamp gutters
And soon it will be morning
Daylight
I must wait for the sunrise
I must think of a new life
And I musn't give in
When the dawn comes
Tonight will be a memory too
And a new day will begin
Touch me
It's so easy to leave me
All alone with the memory
Of my days in the sun
If you touch me
You'll understand what happiness is
Look
A new day has begun********
Other lyrics, adapted, to reflect my soul
Daylight
See the light on the bright sky
Roses whither away
Like the setting sun
Having to face each new day, a new life without you
Memory
All alone in the moonlight
We can smile at the old days
It was beautiful then
We remember the time
We knew what happiness was
Let the memory live ..........................
"Both of you have ascended into glory to be in God's heavenly protection
